Al functions need to be carefully planned in advance and the Toastmaster is a source of reference. Long before the actual day, Alan will meet with you to discuss his role and to offer any help that you may require.

After this meeting you will be provided with a written record of the initial plan, and thereafter Alan will be available to review and fine tune it as much as is necessary until it fully meets your own personal requirements.

The Wedding Breakfast The Wedding Breakfast is a very special event that needs not only to be properly organised, but well orchestrated on the day in order to be successful.

The Toastmaster will add that touch of formality by making all necessary announcements in a clear and distinguished manner. Behind the scenes, he will co-ordinate the activities of Hoteliers, Caterers, Photographers and Videographers ensuring that everything happens when it should and how it should. Nothing (and nobody) will be forgotten.

He will always arrive early, and check that the venue is fully prepared. Thereafter his role may vary according to your wished, but could include:

Receive and direct your guests.
Receive and escort the Bride and Groom on arrival.
Organise the bridal receiving line.
Announce the meal and direct the guests to their places.
Announce the grand entrance of the Bride and Groom and escort them to their places.
Say Grace before the meal (or introduce a guest to do so).
Announce and organise the cutting of the cake.
Announce any toast and speeches.
Formally close the wedding breakfast to prepare for any subsequent festivities.
Make any additional announcements that may be wanted.
Be on hand to deal with any little incidents, emergencies or problems that may occur.

Alan's prime objective will be to take all organisational worries away, leaving you to enjoy this special day.
