The Course content

Comprehensive and detailed instruction through lectures and demonstration on the duties of the toastmaster with students practical, written and role-play participation. Continuous assessment of your progress is monitored and subsequently completed by a final written examination to complete the course.

Functions
All types of functions are covered so that if a hotel asks you to officiate at a function of another culture you will have the confidence to complete the tasks in style.

Wedding breakfasts of many cultures are the main source of a toastmaster's income but you will also be taught how to control simple corporate dinners to elaborate functions at which members of the Royal Family may be in attendance along with civic heads and other National and International personages.

Here you will be taught the traditional protocol, procedures of British Society with some references to particular aspects of Scotland.

The traditional and intrinsic celebrations of Jewish and Masonic references will be well within your working knowledge as will your ability to cope with product launches, State and civic occasions.

You will be capable of giving a very valuable service to the community, a service that is at once satisfying and rewarding. The course also prepares you for your chosen entrance application to a choice of professional organisations. Such organisations include Public Liability Insurance to £5,000,000 as part of the membership.
